Amended second shoot

This is our second shoot. Based on the comments we received last time, we've made some changes in our story board and added various camera shots like shot reverse shot. We have also decided to not darken the scenes in the park to make it look like night as we think that the emptiness of the park during the daytime is much more eerie.

We have had to change actress due to our previous one not being able to make any of our shoots. But we have managed to find one that also has blonde hair and will be able to fit the part.

Our final Red balloon Productions logo

This is our chosen logo for our film. We have used the idea of the clouds from the Dreamworks logo but made sure that they were very dark so we can relate it more to a horror film.

Red balloon productions logo

First of all we tried using red fro the string but i felt that it was too much red and didn't look realistic enough.

We found that using white for the string made it look as if it were a real balloon and just made the logo look better in general

Date of Second Filming/ Shotlist and storyboard change

We will be doing our second media filming on 16th March (Friday) for the park scene and bedroom scene.

Here are the amended storyboard and shot list sheets, we have changed it to add some shot reverse shot and some different angles.

WHAT KIND OF MEDIA INSTITUTION WOULD TRY AND SELL YOUR FILM AND WHY

One major media institution is 'Lionsgate'
An Example of Lionsgate distributing the film 'Saw.'

This is a trailer to Saw which would have been shown on youtube and on television to help to sell the film to people to make them want to go and watch it.

Lionsgate also use posters to try and sell the poster to people and make them want to go to the cinema and watch it. This is a very ambiguous poster so that means that it sells to the audience because it makes you want to go and watch the film to see how the poster links with the film.
